Proposal for Young Fashion Designers
Dear Young Designer
St Lorient is a fashion brand that was established in 1979. We design and make special occasion wear. We are passionate about our business and love to see our young South African creatives go forward.
Nine years ago we incorporated art into our business, thereby giving a platform to young, emerging artists.
Hence St. Lorient Fashion & Art Gallery: A Fusion of Fashion and Art.
We would like to offer you, the designer, a platform and an opportunity to sell your designs at St.Lorient Fashion & Art Gallery.
St Lorient Fashion & Art Gallery is situated on the Brooklyn Circle in the heart of Brooklyn, Pretoria in our own iconic glass and marble building.
We think your label can fit in with our exclusive designs.
Criteria for a final decision will be based on design, high quality and originality.
We would like to propose to give you space within our store for your designer clothing, accessories or jewelery. We wish to promote our young talent; only goods designed and made in South Africa, will be accepted.
You will supply your stock on a consignment basis to St.Lorient Fashion & Art Gallery and you will be responsible for delivering and merchandising it on the rail.
We will pay you at the end of each calendar month, less vat and other costs.
You will have to supply a minimum amount of stock (to be discussed) to make your label successful and to create an impact.
You will have to supply signage for your rail.
You will have to advise our consultants as to how you wish to promote your designs as to how it should be worn etc. when you deliver the stock and ranges.
We will promote you on our webpage, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and by mailing to our client base.
